Staff Sustainability Champions Network

The Staff Sustainability Champions Network is a volunteer-led community of staff (and postgraduate students) who are passionate about pursuing and supporting sustainability initiatives, ideas and opportunities to learn.

The Network hosts regular meetings sharing sustainable best practice, invites sustainability experts to deep dive into challenging topics, connects Champions with the Sustainability Hub (Imperial’s central sustainability team), and has the occasional social, too!

Champions have also put together wonderful projects and initiatives, such as Sustainable Welcome Boxes for incoming students, organised public sustainability-themed seminars, or a designed a sticker campaign to raise awareness for air conditioning energy efficiency. The Sustainability Hub supports Champions in taking initiative to coordinate events or projects that provides sustainability benefits to Imperial’s campuses or community.
