Imperial’s Sustainability Month will take place in March 2026 and we’d love you to be involved!
Over the month students and staff will be able to take part in a variety of sustainability-related activities organised by different departments and societies across the university.
This year's themes are Creativity, Community and Challenge.
Creativity
Explore sustainability through the arts and innovative solutions
Community
Join others in sharing ideas, tips and skills to tackle sustainability issues together
Challenge
Get involved in sustainability-themed competitions and learn about the global sustainability challenges we face
Proposals for events are now open!
If you’d like to be part of developing the programme and create an engaging sustainability event, please complete our event proposal form by Monday 19 January 2026.
You can contact us at sustainable@imperial.ac.uk to talk through any ideas you have.
We are also hosting drop-in sessions for anyone to come and discuss any event proposals:
Wednesday 10 December, 15:00-16:00
Wednesday 14 January, 15:00-16:00
To assist the creation of your event, we can cover the cost of some event resources (within reason) such as promotional material and catering.
The proposed themes for Sustainability Month 2026 are Creativity, Community and Challenge, but we are open to hearing all your ideas even if you don’t feel they sit within these themes.
You can check out previous Sustainability Fortnight events for inspiration.
Proposals are now open until Monday 19 January 2026. We look forward to hearing your ideas for Sustainability Month 2026!
