Who is this course for?
This course is designed for learners who have completed the 40 study hours Imperial after:hours French 2 (Lower Elementary), or who have an equivalent level of proficiency (CEFR A1.2).
Course overview
This course is a continuation course in French, that focuses on practising and reinforcing the A1-level grammar, vocabulary, and fundamental structures (such as past tense, near future, prepositions, direct object pronouns, etc.).
During the course, you will also further develop your speaking, listening, and reading skills, with a particular emphasis on spoken proficiency through interactive activities such as role-play, pair work and group exercises. The course aims to consolidate what you have learned and enhance your confidence in using French.
Building practical confidence in a supportive environment
In addition to conversation and grammatical practice, we will extend our vocabulary and expressions. Authentic texts, audio resources, and real-life scenarios will be used to help us engage in conversation, improve pronunciation and broaden language skills.
The sessions are designed to be engaging, confidence-building and inclusive, enabling you to develop language skills at your own pace.
