Who is this course for?

The course is aimed at those with no previous experience of Korean.

Course overview

On this course you will be given a comprehensive introduction to basic Korean communication skills, ideal for those planning a short trip to Korea, and those wanting to progress to further study in the language.

Alongside the Korean language you will also learn about Korean culture, looking at typical customs and aspects of Korean culture and history.

The programme is intended to be responsive to the ability and interests of the specific class and so the tutor will modify and curate the content depending on the development of skills across the whole group.

By the end of the course, you should be able to understand basic oral and written communication in Korean for use in everyday situations. Advice on which course textbook to buy will be given in the first class.
