Who is this course for?
This consolidation course is intended for those who have taken our Mandarin Chinese 1 (Beginners) course (or similar), have mastered the four tones, can already handle simple structures and who now wish to immerse themselves in studying the language in earnest.
Course overview
The course develops your skills through exercises in practical daily life activities. After a revision of basic structures, students will move on to study grammatical structures of greater complexity and a wider range of speech patterns.
You can expect to develop your oral and listening skills to a higher level, but also gain additional experience in reading and understanding the Chinese script, although it is also possible for you to continue develop your skills using Pinyin if you prefer.
