Course Overview
Our aim is with this course is to help reinforce the basics already learned, expand on that knowledge, and help boost your confidence in speaking.
We will start by expanding on previously learned ways to talk about ourselves, our hobbies and our families, as well as developing both the grammar and vocabulary to order food and drink, describe past events, and talk about sightseeing and holidays.
Required Previous Experience (if any)
You should have completed German 1 on the after:hours programme or have equivalent experience.
Required Reading Material or Special Equipment Needed (if any)
None required.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course you should be able to
- to talk about yourself in increasing detail
- describe your home, work environment and interests
- express opinions in a increasingly sophisticated ways
- make comparisons and suggestions and using present, future, past (perfect and imperfect) and conditional tenses.
