For the love of music!

There is a long history of making and enjoying music at Imperial College London, with facilities such as the Blyth Centre for Music and Art, and the Imperial College Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1948.

This tradition continues to grow with the Imperial College adult education programme, Imperial after:hours, which invites you to join Dr Bruno Bower on an online course exploring the history, meaning and pleasure of classical music and opera.

You do not need to be a member of Imperial College to join a class, and you do not need any previous experience in looking at or appreciating music. You can join the course to discover more about music, make new friends or just for fun.

Bruno is an experienced and lively adult education tutor whose enthusiasm for music is infectious. He has four classes available for the academic year 2025-2026, with three starting in October and one in January.

Everyone is welcome!
