Course overview
On the course you will develop you language skills in French to discuss things like the environment, culture and art, food, travel, education and work and consumption. Through these you will be able to develop practical communication skills and enhance your ability to express yourself in a wide variety of situations.
you will be introduced to new structures such as the plus-que-parfait, the subjunctive and conditional moods, the gerund, expressing opinions, the passive voice, and reported speech in the past. These will help you develop practical communication skills and enhance your ability to express yourself and are in line with the topics covered at the level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
The sessions are designed to be accessible and engaging, encouraging discussions and debates on the topics presented. The aim is to enable you to communicate in French with greater confidence. You will also gain further insight into life and culture in French-speaking countries around the world.
Advice on which course textbook to buy will be given in the first class.
