Join experienced gardening expert Sarah Foss for this engaging autumn course exploring the essential principles behind successful gardening.
Using the autumn months for planning and learning, the course takes place in the classroom at Imperial in South Kensington and combines clear explanations and discussions to help you develop skills that can be applied in your own garden when the growing season begins in spring.
Each week focuses on a key aspect of gardening practice. Topics include pruning techniques, managing pests and plant health, approaches to garden design, and methods of plant propagation. By exploring not only how these techniques work but also why they matter, you will gain valuable insights that help you garden more confidently and effectively.
The course is suitable both for enthusiastic beginners and for gardeners who would like to deepen their knowledge. Sessions are designed to be friendly and informative, offering an opportunity to share ideas, learn from others, and develop the confidence to create and care for a flourishing garden of your own.
