Course overview
Printmaking is one of the most instantly rewarding forms of image-making, with a history that goes back over a thousand years, and still going strong today.
We will introduce you to various printmaking techniques, through which you will have the opportunity to create interesting and effective images in a relatively short period of time. This craft also offers you the opportunity to develop techniques and skills further, giving you a lifetime of creative interest.
The weekly programme will be tailored to each group, with projects developed by the tutor to support individual progress and creative exploration in a variety of printmaking methods.
No previous experience is necessary. All welcome.
Reading material or special equipment needed (if any)
All materials and equipment will be provided, although we advise you to wear old clothes and/or a full apron as you will be using printing inks.
