Course overview

In a world undergoing profound economic and societal transformation, traditional models are being challenged, necessitating the development of new strategies and behaviours. This course, taught by Dr Tatiana Codreanu, offers participants the opportunity to acquire key competencies used by effective managers, with a focus on adapting theoretical tools to real-world situations.

Through case studies, group work, and class discussions, participants will explore strategic thinking, innovation, communication, problem-solving, time and priority management, decision-making, public speaking, team dynamics, negotiation, and influencing skills. The course will also consider how AI technologies can enhance decision-making and streamline organisational practices.

Being a practical and hands-on course, each session includes a case study to illustrate the weekly theme, followed by collaborative tasks and debriefings to share perspectives and deepen analysis. We use Discord for communication and to share learning materials throughout the course.

This course is ideal for those interested in enhancing their strategic and communication skills in professional settings. No previous experience is required.

Reading material or special equipment needed (if any)

We recommend bringing to class a laptop with a recent operating system, as the course includes hands-on work with AI tools and AI agents that are not fully supported on tablets or iPads.
