Inside Imperial is a monthly newsletter sent to all students at Imperial. In this newsletter, we share some of the exciting things that are happening across Imperial and keep in touch with students about the latest news and developments, future events happening in and around our campuses and share the achievements and successes of students. 

Staff can sign up to receive a staff version of Inside Imperial by emailing the Internal Communications team.

Contributing content

If you would like to contribute content, please email Internal Communications and a member of the team will respond to you. We aim for a maximum of 120 words for articles wherever possible.

Please send through any articles by one week before publication.

Inside Imperial goes to students at all level of study, but we are able to segment content for the following audiences:

  • Undergraduate
  • Taught postgraduates
  • Research postgraduates

Writing guidance

  • There is a 120-word limit for Inside Imperial articles. If needed, the Poppulo microsite function is a good alternative to share in-depth information.  
  • Write clearly and concisely – avoid jargon and try to convey your key message in simple terms for a general audience.
  • Have a clear call to action for readers.
  • Include relevant links and information on how staff can find out more.
