CoreStream for Health & Safety (Risk Assessments, Audits) 

CoreStream has been implemented for Health & Safety to consolidate risk assessments, audit & inspections and incident reporting onto one platform.

The Health & Safety module offers the following key benefits:

• A single platform for creating, reviewing, and approving risk assessments, ensuring consistency and traceability across Imperial, with built-in workflows to ensure timely review and approval.
• Simplifies scheduling, conducting, and tracking of audits and inspections.
• Provides a structured process for reporting near misses and accidents, with built-in workflows to ensure timely investigation.
• Supports adherence to health and safety legislation by maintaining a clear audit trail of actions and approvals.
• Provides reports and dashboards that offer a real-time visual overview of entries

CoreStream for Risk Management

The Risk Management module of Corestream provides the following benefits to Colleagues:

• Rapid access to view and update risk data, with personalised views and role-based permissions.
• Facilitates the escalation / de-escalation process to improve risk reduction and resolution.
• Maintains a ‘near real time’, consistent, and unified view of risks across Faculties, SIDs and Professional Service areas.
• Facilitates the production of risk reports and risk dashboards at all management levels.
• Removes silos around risks to ensure that risks are visible across Imperial.
• Ability to link risks to inform Imperial on risk contagion.

Risk Management users have had their accounts and permissions created and can now log in by accessing Corestream. Risk Management Users will need to have the correct permissions applied to their accounts – if a colleague is a new user to the platform, please contact the Risk Manager. The Risk Manager has set up an Imperial CoreStream Users team which is accessible at the link. The purpose of this team is to provide a channel for all queries, issues and feedback, and for the Risk Manager to contact Imperial Colleagues as the need arises.

CoreStream for Compliance Management  

CoreStream has been implemented by Imperial’s Legal and Regulatory Affairs Team for compliance management.  

The Compliance Module provides the following benefits: 

• Increased agility in tracking significant regulatory updates that will impact Imperial. 

• The ability to align frequency of compliance reviews with the risk level of a particular regulatory area, consolidating our risk-based approach to compliance. 

• More flexible and consistent reporting on compliance risk trends across Imperial, delivering real-time insights into organisation-wide compliance. 

Responsible Officers for key regulatory areas have had their access to CoreStream activated and can now log in.
