To find out more about our Change Network and how to become a member, email greatservice@imperial.ac.uk.
The network provides localised peer support that acts as the ‘bridge’ between the programme team and faculties and departments, to enable the delivery and adoption of the change to the new system.
Recruiting for members
We currently have over 200 members in our network, and we welcome any additional members who can support change in their area.
System demos
In December, over 90 members attended online demo sessions which covered:
- A walkthrough of the homepage
- Booking annual leave (and Line Manager approval)
- Submitting an expense (and Line Manager approval)
- A question and answer session

Lunch & Learn sessions
In February, we will launch a series of Lunch & Learn sessions open to all staff. We have taken your feedback about what your colleagues will want to see and learn more about and are now developing the content for the sessions. We will demonstrate key areas of the new system to help colleagues familiarise themselves with it.
Monthly sessions to support members
These sessions will be used to provide you with updates and gain your input. The first session will be:
- Tuesday 29 January, 14.30 - 15.30
Further sessions will be organised for February and March.
Change Network members will help with:
- Communication and engagement
- Local expertise
- Feedback
- Testing ideas
- Surfacing early issues
- Supporting business readiness
- Promoting engagement activities to local stakeholders
Sharing essential information about the programme with your team.
As colleagues that understand team dynamics and challenges on-the-ground and as-it-happens, you can provide insights, influence and advice on what is different.
Gaining feedback from your local community and sharing this with the programme team regularly to help bridge any gaps.
Providing a space to develop and test plans, identify risks, potential issues and solutions across a wider network.
Helping identify roadblocks, gaps or areas of resistance early, to allow for timely interventions and support.
Serving as trusted additional support to busy leaders and line managers through the change in the lead up to, and after, go live.
This will include:
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) – testing out real scenarios to make sure the system works in preparation for go live.
- Business Process Mapping (BPM) and Change Impact Assessments (CIA) – to help identify early interventions and transition support specific departments might need.
- Lunch and Learn sessions – on topics and areas of the system people want to know more about.
- Roadshows – the programme team will go out to faculties and central departments to showcase the new system and signpost training before go live.
