Management and Admin FAQs
- Will we have the same access/user rights on the new system as we do on Imperial College Information Systems (ICIS)?
- What will the new navigation look like?
- What AI/automation/machine learning is included? How will it differ to now?
- How will the new system benefit Line Managers?
Access and User Rights will be driven by the role a person holds in the organisation. As part of the design of the system we are undertaking an analysis of what accessibility, functions, tools and data sets should be available to which roles, based on the responsibilities of that position and where they sit within the organisation
Examples of the new system navigation can be found in the Demo Videos area of our Sharepoint site.
Oracle Fusion has AI automation built into the product itself. There is a built in AI Chatbot product called Oracle Digital Assistant, which you will be able to type in and verbally ask questions about process, navigation and data and it can present answers on screen from your fusion access. Other tools we are using are Intelligent Document Recognition which is based on Machine Learning and processes our Supplier Invoices automatically sent through as an image. We are currently working through which products are best to use where to create the best user experience.
Line Managers will have their own view and dashboard where they can view data and information about their teams. Examples of this can be found in our Line Manager perspective demo videos.
