To ensure a smooth transition to the new system, our training programme is designed to equip users with the knowledge and confidence to embrace new processes and use the system effectively.

Training will be tailored to specific roles and delivered at the right time. It will cater to different learning styles and ensure every participant understands the new ways of working and processes required for their role. Everyone who uses the system will receive the training they need to work efficiently, adapt to change, and contribute to a consistent and confident way of working across the organisation.

Key training dates

Below is a list of the key training phases and estimated dates.
Note: not all users will attend all phases of training, more details below.

Types of training

Key User Training

Key User Training is designed to build skills and knowledge among programme team members, Subject Matter Experts, technical users, local business trainers, and high-volume transactional users of the new system. It is not intended for all end users. Attendance is limited to individuals nominated by your business area as Key Users.

Access to Recorded Key User Training

All Key User training sessions will be recorded and made available for later viewing. This ensures that nominated Key Users can revisit the content for reinforcement or catch up if they were unable to attend a live session. All recordings can be found on our Sharepoint.

User Acceptance Tester Training

User Acceptance Tester Training is designed to equip nominated business testers with the knowledge and skills needed to validate the new system. Testers play a key role in confirming that functionality works as intended. The training will cover end-to-end processes, system features, and how to carry out tests effectively. It is not intended for general end users; participants are nominated by their business area to act as testers.

End User Training

End User training is designed to prepare employees who will use the new system in their day-to-day roles. Training is delivered through a role-based learning approach, ensuring that each participant gains the specific knowledge and skills needed to perform their responsibilities in the new system. This training focuses on practical, hands-on activities and real business scenarios to help end users confidently adopt the new system from go-live.

Key Resources

To support training and ongoing adoption, a range of learning resources will be available to all users. These will include step-by-step guides, e-learning modules, and short video demonstrations. Materials will be tailored by role to provide clear, practical support for completing day-to-day tasks in the new system. All resources will remain accessible after the system goes live in 2026, allowing users to refresh their knowledge whenever needed.
