Who can use ATLAS?

We welcome researchers from academia and industry to use our facilities. Research should fall within the scope of the ATLAS research themes and reaction conditions should be compatible with the capabilities of the high-throughput platforms.

How do I access the equipment?

Access will be granted based on the submission of a proposal which will be reviewed by the management board. Applications can be made by filling in the ATLAS access proposal form (.docx) and sending it to atlas.facility@imperial.ac.uk for review.

Get in touch if you'd like to discuss your proposed research before completing the access form.

What automation experience do I need?

Aligning with our vision, ATLAS is accessible to users with no prior experience in automation. The facility manager will provide training to all users and assist with the development of workflows.

How much does it cost?

Supported by investments from EPSRC, the College and our industrial sponsors, there will be no charge for ATLAS equipment use until Spring 2024 for academics. Beyond this, daily fees will apply which will vary depending on type of equipment. Note that users must supply their own consumables.
