The Imperial College Electrochemistry Network was established in 2020. Its role is to connect the large and burgeoning group of electrochemistry researchers across the university, enhance our interactions, and provide a focal point for both internal and external engagement across electrochemistry. The network curently has 64 principal investigators and more than 290 postgraduates/postdocs members from 9 different departments across the college.

Electrochemistry impacts a huge range of technological systems and is ubiquitous in nature. At Imperial we are engaged in a particularly broad spectrum of electrochemistry research, ranging from fundamental studies of redox couples to electrochemical systems engineering.

The Network is led by Ifan Stephens (Materials), Anna Hankin (Chemical Engineering) and Clotilde Cucinotta (Chemistry), with additional organisational support from Mengnan Wang (Materials).
