English Language Courses - adult education

We offer a selection of courses designed for non-native English speakers who would like to strengthen their confidence and fluency in both business and conversational English.

Our Business English courses explore the language commonly used in professional contexts, including idiomatic expressions, metaphors and technical vocabulary frequently encountered in modern workplaces. Understanding how English speakers use figurative language to describe situations can be particularly important in business and commercial environments.

Our Conversational English courses focus on developing confidence and clarity in everyday communication. Through guided discussion and practical exercises, you will practise key skills such as listening, understanding context, pronunciation, intonation and stress.

To benefit fully from these courses, you should already have a good working knowledge of spoken English, ideally around B2 level (Cambridge First Certificate) or IELTS 5.5–6.5, or an equivalent level of proficiency.

All of our part-time adult education courses are open to anyone looking to continue learning in a friendly and intellectually stimulating environment.
