October intake

Classes have now started

Although we are not an English language school and do not offer English as a foreign language (EFL) courses, we do have a small selection of courses available aimed at non-native English speakers to help if you want to improve your proficiency in the use of business and conversational English.

Our business English courses deal with common idiomatic phrases and metaphors and are geared towards the use of English by business people in a variety of sectors. Discussing business matters with appropriate technical language and understanding when a speaker is using a simile or metaphor to describe a situation is essential in business and commerce.

Our conversational English courses are designed to help you speak English with greater confidence and clarity in everyday situations. We will focus on key communication skills such as listening, understanding context, accurate pronunciation, intonation, and stress.

You should have a level of ability in spoken English at least equivalent to B2 (Cambridge First Certificate) / IELTS 5.5-6.5 or equivalent before joining any of our business and conversational English courses, respectively.

All of our very part-time adult education courses are open to all.

Courses starting October 2025

Course starting January 2026
