Who is this course for?
This course is designed for complete beginners or those with very little experience of the German language.
Course overview
This course focuses on the spoken language and aims to equip you with the skills needed for everyday situations in a German-speaking environment. You will learn how to introduce yourself and others, describe your home and daily activities, shop for and order food and drink, make travel arrangements, ask questions, formulate simple descriptions, express opinions, and acquire a good basic vocabulary.
The weekly programme will depend on the specific group, with content being adapted to meet the needs and skills development of the learners. The sessions are designed to be accessible and engaging, encouraging interaction and active participation.
This course uses a textbook and other material to teach the course. Advice on which course textbook to buy will be given in the first class.
