Who is this course for?

This course is suitable for those with some experience of German, who are not complete beginners but have not yet reached Post-Beginner level. You will have learned some basic German, but maybe a while ago, or you might have attended a Beginner's German course recently but feel you would like time to revise, consolidate, and practice what you have previously studied.

Please contact us for a free language level check if you are unsure which course is right for you.

Course overview

Our aim is to help reinforce the basics already learned, expand on that knowledge and help boost your confidence in speaking.

We will start by expanding on previously learned ways to talk about ourselves, our hobbies and our families, as well as developing both the grammar and vocabulary to order food and drink, describe past events, and talk about sightseeing and holidays.

The sessions are designed to be accessible and engaging, encouraging interaction and active participation.

This course uses a textbook and other material to teach the course. Advice on which course textbook to buy will be given in the first class.
