Who is this course for?

This course is ideal for those who have completed the Imperial after:hours German 1 (Beginners), or the German 2 (Reboot Your German) course recently, or have equivalent knowledge.

Course overview

The course builds on and expands the language skills you have developed in a beginners’ course to enable you to communicate in German with greater confidence and ease, and on a broader range of topics.

You will be introduced to new structures, such as the simple past, comparative and superlative forms and a range of conjunctions, so you can develop your practical communication skills and enhance your expression. The sessions are designed to be accessible and engaging, encouraging discussions and debates on the topics presented.

This course uses a textbook and other material to teach the course. Advice on which course textbook to buy will be given in the first class.
