Course overview
This course aims to further advance your language skills in the four key skills of speaking, listening, writing and reading, with particular emphasis on the development of oral proficiency which can be deployed in a wide range of life contexts and to discuss topical issues.
Sessions are designed to be accessible and engaging, encouraging you to build on your prior learning through practical and collaborative communicative tasks. You will develop increased proficiency in basic Kanji and we will learn and use more of this during the course through group learning, individual study and role play.
The programme is intended to be responsive to the ability and interests of the specific class and so the tutor will modify and curate the content depending on the development of skills across the whole group.
This course uses a textbook and other material to teach the course. Advice on which course textbook to buy will be given in the first class.
