Who is this course for? 

This course is aimed at those who have completed a Beginners course, such as Imperial's Spanish 1 (Beginners) class, or an equivalent to an A1 level in the CEFR / pre-GCSE (A1) or those having some basic knowledge of Spanish.

Course overview

On this course we will build on your existing basic understanding of Spanish. This will take us deeper into unsing Spansih to understand and make oursleves understood in situations such as going shopping, ordering food, talking about our plans, travel and taking holidays, as well as making and accepting invitations, giving directions, making polite requests and describing past experiences.

In this we will learn topics included in the level A2.1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages, and so you will be introduced to important grammar points which we will practice in context through role playing and other classroom activities, to begin our understanding of the use of the present and past tenses (pretérito perfecto and indefinido).

All sessions are designed to immerse you in enjoyable practical language learning through interactive activities such as pair work, group work activities and role plays.
