Aim of the event: To ensure non-clinical research leads, PIs, groups heads, are all fully aware of the funding opportunities for clinical academic trainees (junior doctors mostly, but might also be pharmacists, therapists or nurses) who might be encouraged/enticed into their labs: from pre-doctoral research training to develop a PhD fellowship application (eg academic clinical fellows, academic foundation doctors), PhD fellowships (both internally and externally funded), to post-doctoral fellowships/lecturers and newer intermediate fellowship programmes.

This meeting will ensure information about such programmes and schemes are widely understood, especially for non-clinical research active staff, and ensure more access to excellent potential PhD candidates from clinical medicine and healthcare.

Target Audience: non-clinical research leads, PIs, group heads, basic scientists.

This session is being delivered by the Clinical Academic Training Office. Any enquiries about this event should be sent to cato@imperial.ac.uk
