The Paris Climate Agreement: What next?
The response of the public sector, companies, investors and civil society to the Paris Agreement should drive the speed and scale of implementation. HSBC Global Research expects all stakeholders to be impacted by the physical consequences of change and the regulation to combat it, as well as to be pushed to demonstrate how they are helping to solve the problem. The HSBC report “Keeping it Cool: Implementing the Paris Agreement” sets out the likely reaction of these stakeholders to the climate deal.
Director of HSBC Climate Change Strategy Zoe Knight and Associate Director for HSBC Clean Energy & Technology Research Sean McLoughlin will be engaging in a talk on the report at Imperial to discuss investor considerations post-Paris and the disruption potential of the climate response on income and value and the speed of deal delivery.
Wine reception to follow.
