Register nowJoin us on Monday 20th June for a special guest lecture with IGHI Visiting Professor Tim Kelsey and entrepreneur and writer Roger Taylor as they celebrate the release of their new book Transparency and the Open Society.

To coincide with the book release, this lecture will provide a platform to hear from the authors on the current state of transparency policy and will highlight some striking examples of success.  They also aim to explore why transparency policies have failed to match up to the rhetoric.

The authors argue that the rise of big data and the machine learning systems necessary to make sense of these data pose a significant new challenge to transparency policy – one that current arrangements are unable to meet. The new book outlines how changes in our approach to transparency could address these problems and we hope you will be able to join us for the lecture as we delve into the key priorities for transparency going forward.

The lecture will be followed by a networking drinks reception.

Please note it is open to all and tickets will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis, so book now to avoid dissappointment.

We look forward to seeing you at our event.
