School of Medicine Careers Fair

The Careers Fair will have exhibitor stands located on the 1st floor concourse of the Reynolds Building, from 4–8.00pm. There will be representatives from many different organisations and specialties. The Fair is an annual event that is held in an informal environment and gives medical students, and Foundation Doctors (NWTFS) an ideal opportunity to:

  • Meet a broad range of exhibitors at one event.
  • Discuss any prospective career plans you may have.
  • Gather information on career progression and pathway guidance; explore opportunities that may be available to you.
  • Ask what work you can do as a student/Foundation doctor to gain experience and improve your chances of success.

Interactive Career Workshops

In addition to the exhibitor stands there is also a programme of 30 minute interactive workshops run every 45 minutes from 17:15 – 19:15 open to Imperial undergraduate medical students, and North West Thames Foundation School doctors. These workshops provide a unique opportunity for you to gain feedback and advice at a personal level. The workshops are: Alternative Careers, Building your Portfolio & CV, Choosing the Right Career for You, and Working Abroad. These will be held at the following times: 17:15-17:45, 18:00-18:30, 18:45 -19:15.
