In May 2015 I visited two leading German universities in Munich, Ludwig Maximilians-Universität München and Techniche Universität München. The focus of my visit was to discover examples of good teaching practice in order to enrich the existing curriculum of our Centre for Languages, Culture and Communication and expand the horizons of our students studying Science, Technology and Medicine. This seminar will focus on my preparations for the visit, the details of my visit to the two universities in Munich and the contacts with fellow language teachers which I was able to make there. Teachers of languages as well as other members of staff who are interested in applying for the Erasmus+ Programme will benefit from attending this talk.
