The workshop will place a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches to Statistical Mechanics including Molecular Dynamics and in this spirit we aim to bring together researchers from different communities (Chemists, Engineers, Mathematicians and Physicists) to discuss recent advances, ongoing research activities and open problems related to Statistical Mechanics and its numerous applications in natural phenomena and technology.
We strongly encourage participation of PhD students, Postdocs and young researchers. Attendance is open to anyone interested in the topics of the conference. While we don’t need formal registration from people that would like to just pop-in for some sessions, it would be good for catering purposes if you could contact Michela Ottobre m.ottobre@hw.ac.uk in case you are planning on attending the full programme. Unfortunately, the workshop can only cover accommodation and travel expenses for the speakers.
