  • Affirm importance to HENWL, Imperial College and partner organisations of patient and public engagement to deliver better, safer care
  • Affirm relevance of “reciprocal illumination” in NWL for delivery of the Five Year Forward View across: healthy communities; service redesign; patients as educators; patients &research
  • Bring together lay people and professionals  involved in patient and public engagement in NWL and catalyse formation of productive networks
  • Identify learning from patient and public engagement to date that will inform future work
  • Identify pathways to progress and next steps
