Airbnb is a platform for trust and cultivating this trust is key to the growth of the business. From the very start, data science has been at the heart of identifying drivers of trust and ways to mitigate mistrust. In his talk, Dr. Gupta will touch on some of the ways data scientists have previously been able to engage more users, what they are doing now to detect fraudulent activity, and how they hope to accelerate trust in the future.
