The 130th Annual Dinner of the RSMA will be held on Friday 28 November. The dinner is open to members, guests, partners and RSM students. As many members as possible are encouraged to attend this prestigious occasion and tradition. Following the success of last year’s dinner, the dinner will be again held at the Rembrandt Hotel, 11 Thurloe Place, Knightsbridge (adjacent to South Kensington tube station). The date will again tie in with the Mines & Money conference in London.
Guest speaker will be Dr Mike Harris ARSM, who is Visiting Professor at the Department of Earth Science and Technology at the RSM, and who is also Director of Business Development, Copper for Rio Tinto plc.
Tickets are £50 for members and guests and £25 for students. Members are encouraged to sponsor a student at £25 per student. Sponsoring students promotes interaction between members and the present generation at RSM whilst at the same time promoting the RSMA to the students. Tickets can be purchased by downloading and completing this form or by following the instructions on the website.
The committee would also like to use this mailing as an opportunity to remind members of the funds appeal for the RSMA Trust. A huge thank you to all who have contributed to date and it is your generosity that ensures the future success of the Association. Donations can be through the website by following the Endowment Fund link, or by cheque, payable to THE RSMA Trust, to Teresa Sergot, Academic & Alumni Relations Manager, Faculty of Engineering, Imperial College London, Level 2 Faculty Building, South Kensington Campus, London SW7 2AZ.
