This talk will explore how segregation equipartition models describe how populations, eigenfunctions, etc rearrange optimally, with special geometry at their interacting boundaries.

Professor Caffarelli is the Sid W. Richardson Foundation Regents Chair in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and The Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences of the University of Texas at Austin.
