Speaker: Dr Stefano Borini, Principal Researcher at Nokia Research Center (Cambridge UK Laboratory)

Abstract: “Graphene and other two-dimensional materials could constitute the future technology platform that will enable novel electronic devices, particularly within the emerging field of flexible electronics. Several applications – such as wearables, distributed sensors and mobile healthcare – could benefit from the increase of graphene technology’s maturity. The talk will give an overview of the main opportunities and challenges related to the development of such technology, with some concrete examples from either the Graphene Flagship project or Nokia’s internal research activity.”
