How to build a bionic man

From bionic arms and legs to fully powered exoskeletons, science is beginning to catch-up with science fiction in the race to replace body parts with man-made alternatives. Imperial scientist Dr Dominic Southgate (Bionegineering) and materials scientist Professor Mark Miodownik work at the cutting-edge of research to find out what this new technology could achieve. They join us to show off the latest in prosthetics and exoskeletons which prove how man and machine are fast becoming one.
