Knife injury is a growing problem across the country. Every year, many young people are seriously injured and often lose their lives. Professor Roger Kneebone and his team from Imperial College London present a scarily realistic simulation of what happens. Join them to see how the ambulance, police and medical services work together to save lives and get people back to their families.

You’ll see a real surgical team in the operating theatre, and maybe even join them as they fight to save a patient’s life. Afterwards you’ll talk to the doctors, nurses, paramedics and police and hear it from the patient’s viewpoint too. Come and see for yourself what life on a knife edge is really like. But be warned – it’s not for the faint-hearted. This simulation is very realistic, though no actual surgery is shown
