The Careers Fair will have exhibitor stands located on the ground floor and 1st floor concourse of the Reynolds Building, from 16:00-20:00. There will be representatives from many different organisations and specialties involved in medicine.
The Careers Fair is held in an informal environment and gives students and Foundation Doctors an ideal opportunity to meet a broad range of exhibitors at one event, to discuss any prospective career plans they may have, gather information on career progression and pathway guidance, explore opportunities that may be available to them, and what work they can do as a student/Foundation doctor to gain experience and improve their chances of success.
Interactive Career Workshops
In addition to the exhibitor stands there will also is also a very interesting programme of short 30 minute interactive workshops run every 45 minutes from 17:00-20:00 open to Imperial undergraduate medical students, and North West Thames Foundation School doctors. These workshops provide a unique opportunity to gain feedback and advice at a very a very personal level. The workshops are: Academic Careers, Building your Portfolio, Choosing the Right Career for you, and Working Abroad.
The number of places on these workshops are limited, therefore booking your place early is highly recommended.
