The Creative Quarter is an event for 13 – 19 year olds which provides a unique chance for young people to learn about their prospects in the creative industries.
Organised by the Exhibition Road Cultural Group (ERCG), Creative Quarter provides a chance to meet professional artists, designers and scientists – as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students – and to take part in free drop-in activities, workshops, talks and demonstrations. It gives access to some of the latest developments in the creative industries, as well as an overview of different education and career pathways young people can follow.
Sessions are put on by all the members of the Cultural Group, such as the V&A, Natural History Museum and Imperial College London. As part of Imperial College’s contribution, Dr Simon Foster gave his ‘When Science attacks talk’ to over 600 students in the great hall.
