The Energy Futures Lab and Centre for Nuclear Engineering at Imperial College London are pleased to announce Mr Humphrey Cadoux-Hudson, Managing Director, Nuclear New Build, EDF Energy will present the 4th EDF Annual Lecture.

He will discuss plans to build the UK’s first new nuclear power plant in 20 years. The government and energy company EDF Group forged an agreement over the station, to be called Hinkley Point C, in October 2013.

Biography

Born in Hanover, Humphrey Cadoux-Hudson spent his formative years in Germany and Northern Ireland before going to Manchester University where he gained a degree in engineering and management. Joining accountancy firm KPMG he trained as an accountant and from there moved to Seeboard becoming financial controller in 1996 and Director in 2000. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of the Nuclear New Build business, Humphrey was EDF Energy’s Chief Financial Officer.
