o An introduction to the industry and what it means to be part of it
o An introduction to Shell, where Shell sit within the industry
o How you can fit in within the company and what is involved
o Career paths within Shell
EVENING ACTIVITIES (rooms 224/240)
o Shell application process – what we are looking for, what you need to do, help with how the process works.
o Tips and tricks for succeeding at interview, as well as how to prepare for the Shell interview
o Internships at Shell (penultimate year) – descriptions of what it’s like to be a Shell intern, what you can get out of it, how to succeed, and what is expected of you (NOTE: Internships are not on offered unless you are in the penultimate or final years (3rd, 4th years)
o CV clinic – A chance to run over your CV with Shell recruitment professionals, discuss improvements and how to best represent yourself. Attendance of the preceding talks is mandatory for this
o Evening refreshments
