NEW TIME – 16:25
Curator David Rooney has kindly agreed to take guide another tour to visit Code Breakers, the Alan Turing Exhibition, before it closes the following week. Homework beforehand (if you want) is a Youtube video in which Curator David Rooney talks about Alan Turing and the Codebreaker exhibition. David Rooney has also blogged about Alan Turing’s multiple lives.
Partners and friends welcome. Max 2 tickets per person.
Booking (free): https://imperial600-turing2.eventbrite.co.uk/
Join Imperial 600 (Imperial College’s LGBT staff group) and friends, at the Science Museum. The exhibition has had excellent reviews, not least because of the way it covers Turing’s sexuality as well as his contributions to mathematics and computing.
Meet at 16:25 pm at the information desk inside the main entrance of the Science Museum. David will then take us into the museum.
After our visit we’ll go for a beer or a coffee at the Zetland Arms (right near South Kensington tube station)
[no need to print out a ticket, we’ll have a list of those signed up].
Please cancel your tickets if you find you can’t come after all (that will release your place to someone on the waiting list).
