This two day meeting will include talks from many senior Imperial academics as well as prominent academics from partner institutions in South Africa, The Gambia, Kenya, Thailand, Peru, Kenya and Uganda. Themes will include HIV and TB, malaria, neglected tropical diseases and non-communicable diseases, child health, and viral diseases among others.
As well as opening the new Centre for Global Health Research, the event will also serve as a final meeting for the Wellcome Centre for Clinical Tropical Medicine, and will feature talks from our current and recent fellows.
