Mining the Gap – The Three Royal School of Mines Benefactors: Alfred Beit, Otto Beit and Julius Wernher
These 3 men played a significant part in the development of Imperial College through their philanthropy. Hear how and why these Naturalised British citizens gave College so much valuable support.
At the end of the talk there will be a short walk between RSM and the Beit Building to view and discuss their statues, plaque and architecture.
