This one day course for Year 10 and Year 11 students will give them a great boost before their GCSE exams.
This event aims to provide exam revision support, information about Higher Education pathways and an insight into STEM careers for KS4 students. Supported by university mentors, it will provide a taster of University life aimed at encouraging aspirations towards Higher Education and continued study of STEM subjects.
Students will undertake various workshops in Revision, Study Skills, and challenging perceptions of STEM careers. They will also have an opportunity to visit the annual Imperial Festival, where they will have an opportunity to talk with over 200 scientists and take part in hands on demonstrations.
This course is fully funded by the Imperial College Access Fund for high achieving students from backgrounds under represented in HE who meet the G&T Access funding criteria.
