The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Malaria & Neglected Tropical Diseases in conjunction with the All-party Group on Water and Sanitation in the Developing World and the Child Health & Vaccine Preventable Diseases Group invite you to a meeting on the theme of WASH (Water,Sanitation, Hygiene) and Infectious diseases.
Speakers will include:
Tom Slaymaker, Deputy Head of Policy at Water Aid, will talk about the role of WASH in the control of infectious diseases, the challenges, implementation and successes on the integrated WASH and NTD programme.
Dr Antony Soloman MBBS, MRCP, PhD, DTM&H, PGCAP, Senior Lecturer in Infectious Diseases & Tropical Medicine; and Chief Scientist, Global Trachoma Mapping Project, will give a presentation on DFID supported trachoma mapping project.
Anthony Costello, MA MB BChir FRCP FRCPCH FmedSci, Professor of International Child Health and Director of the UCL Institute for Global Health.
