Abstract

Education Day will take place on Monday 22 April. The event will be focussed around concepts of creativity from a range of perspectives. Both internal and external speakers will talk around the issue of designing curriculums and spaces which foster and nurture creativity in education.

The event will commence with a welcome from Professor Debra Humphris, Pro Rector (Education), followed by a panel of speakers who will provide examples of innovative and creative curriculum designs. This will be followed by a round table session, where there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.

The afternoon will finish with our keynote speaker, Associate Professor Daniel Tan, Director, Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), which will provide an exciting opportunity to share good practice across our institutions. The day will conclude with a wine reception in celebration of the event.
