The next meeting of the Challenger Society’s special interest group in Ocean Modelling will be held at Imperial College, London, on 9-10 September 2013. This meeting, hosted by the Grantham Institute for Climate Change, aims at bringing together UK oceanographers for two days of discussions in an informal setting. The meeting will consist in short presentations given by participants which will be organised in 5 different sessions (to be determined at a later stage). Ocean modelling is taken here in the broadest sense, including physical, chemical and biological aspects, as well as including a broad range of approaches, from idealized to the most realistic settings.
The meeting will start on Monday September 9 at 1pm and will end on Tuesday September 10 at 3pm.
