This roadshow brings together the UK’s top photonics technology supplier companies, leading researchers and invited speakers for a very special one-day event:
- Exhibition of 25 companies dedicated to optics, photonics and imaging technology
- View latest photonics applications and solutions
- See optical components, instruments & tools
- Join in a conference all about the latest techniques
Remember photonics is an enabling technology – exhibitors develop solutions to satisfy your applications and it is only face-to-face that you can really find out how a company can help you in your work. There are tutorials and educational forums being presented by these companies and industry specialists.
Advances in photonic tools and techniques for the life sciences
The scientific program is being chaired by Dr Chris Dunsby, a joint lecturer between the Department of Physics and the Department of Medicine at Imperial College London.
Significant advances in the development of optical techniques have led to an ever increasing role of photonics in the study of various problems in the life sciences, in medicine, clinical sciences, neurophysiology etc. Researchers are continually looking for better ways to analyse complex processes and photonics underpins many of the most promising approaches for medical diagnosis, drug development & other clinical and life science applications.
Attend this event broaden your knowledge in the world of photonics by attending a key meeting for (bio)photonics technologies. The technical committee have announced that the programme will include presentations by leading UK scientists.
