Ash Wednesday is the beginning of the Christian season of Lent, the forty-day time of prayer, study, and fasting in preparation for Easter.
This Church of England Service is open to anyone who wishes to attend – Holy Trinity Church, next to Beit Quad led by the College Chaplain.
The service will include the optional traditional practice of ‘Ashing’ – receiving the sign of the cross in ash on the forehead.
If you would like ideas about meditation, prayer patterns, books to read, and other ways to observe Lent please contact Andrew Willson at chaplaincy@imperial.ac.uk
